How to Measure Your Wall

Whether you’re covering a full wall or just a section, we’re here to make the process simple and stress-free. Follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure perfect measurements for your mural, canvas, or wall art print.

Looking for a Wall Poster or Canvas?

If you’re planning to install a poster or canvas in a specific section of the wall, follow these steps:

        1.Decide the Area:

  • Choose the section of the wall where you want to place the poster or canvas.

        2.Mark the Boundaries:

  • Use a pencil or masking tape to mark the top, bottom, left, and right points of the desired area.

        3.Measure the Height and Width:

  • Measure the distance between the top and bottom marks for the height.
  • Measure the distance between the left and right marks for the width.

        4.Record Measurements:

  • Write down the height and width clearly. Double-check to ensure accuracy.

        5.Consider Extra Space:

  • If framing is required, add 1-2 inches to your measurements.

Looking for a Wall Mural?

Murals typically cover the entire wall, and precise measurements ensure a seamless fit. Follow these steps:

         1.Full Wall:

  • Measure the total width from one end of the wall to the other.
  • Measure the total height from the floor to the ceiling.
  • If the wall has windows, doors, or other obstacles, measure the full wall as a whole. Adjustments for these features will be made during installation.

         2.Vaulted Walls:

  • Measure the total width of the wall.
  • Measure the height from the floor to the highest point of the wall.
  • The mural will be printed to the largest dimensions and trimmed to fit during installation.

By following these steps, you’ll have accurate measurements for a stunning wall mural. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
